MY AUTUMN WARDROBE.
The transitional season is here and we are well and truly on our way into winter. Autumn leaves my mind wandering to late evenings filled with friends, mulled wine and layered outfits.
There will be some old favourites reappearing in my Autumn wardrobe mixed in the new. You’ll find me layering some classic pieces to transition through to winter and some more “trend focused” purchases to inject some fun and newness into a brand new season.
Fashion and style are so personal and what some may love, another may wonder what the hell you were thinking when you were getting dressed that morning. But I say- so long as you love what you’re wearing and you feel good wearing it then you do you and express yourself however you please!
I wore this amazing outfit on a recent trip up to Paihia with Richard and some family. I loved styling this State Of Play suede jacket, it is one of the best jackets I have had the pleasure of wearing with the soft material and beautiful cut. State of Play is one of the new designer brands that has recently been added to selected Farmers stores, it is edgy, fashion forward and extremely chic.
So let’s dive into what pieces I’m loving this season. Hopefully, you’ll find some inspiration and ideas for yourself too.
The ultimate jacket of my dreams. A simple yet effective way to style up those everyday outfits. It’s classic enough to wear from day to night and the colour of this particular jacket is able to turn heads wherever you go. Team it with your favourite midi dress for that perfect romantic look, and add a little edge with some statement ankle boots.
THE MAUVE DRESS
Muted pastel tones have always been my favourite to wear. With the number of options available there is always something to match everyone’s personal style. They can be an essential part of a mix and match wardrobe. Using feminine tones in your wardrobe to offset some edgy boots is a great way to incorporate pastel into a less girly wardrobe. Or if you’re like me, it means you can add even more of your favourite colour to your style.
THE STATEMENT ACCESSORY
If there’s one way I like to complete an outfit, it’s with my accessories! Shoes, jewellery and statement sunglasses are all great ways to inject a point of difference to any outfit. Accessories have the ability to fit well with any wardrobe and budget, so if you’re like me, stocking up on jewellery is a great way to add your own personal flair to an outfit.
Farmers has given me a voucher to giveaway to one of my lucky readers also! If you want to win a $100 voucher for Farmers so you can create your own Autumn looks- all you have to do to enter is sign up to mailing list and drop me a comment below!
