Christmas Gift Ideas for The Ladies (and a GIVEAWAY!)

Hey everybody! As you can tell by the title- this post is covering what to get the ladies this Christmas! Whether your shopping for your daughter, mum, nana or sister – I’ve got you covered in this post!

There are so many options to choose from and time is running out fast but there are some great last minute options for those of you who may be a little clueless when it comes to Christmas shopping. And two pretty amazing giveaways in there too! I am so excited about this giveaway and to be completely honest with you, I want to pocket them myself! I really love this little pack (that also comes with a masque and two extra pots) At $29 these are the perfect little gift for any lady in your life and is suitable for any age. I know with being a 25 year old that struggles with problem skin, a good skincare regimen gifted to me is so greatly appreciated. Tailor is a range I have been wanting to trial for a wee while now and I’m really impressed. The packaging is beautiful, the product itself is high quality and they also include little cards in the pack to explain how to use each product.

Ever since I can remember, girls everywhere (particularly teenagers) have always had Pandora Charms high on their Christmas List. So if you happen to be shopping for a teen, I promise you these are always going to be a win. The Disney collection only came out last month, and the charms are just too adorable, featuring Minnie Ears, Love hearts and adorable illustrations. Perfect little treat for your loved ones!

Morgan Taylor Lacquer

Morgan Taylor are a New Zealand Company, and they have recently launched their Neon Range for Summer. These are great stocking fillers and the colours are adorable. The bright pops of colour are sure to stand out. ( A gifting tip is to pop them in a cute jar that is also filled with jelly beans!) This is how I received mine and I thought it was a great idea.

These purses were sent to me all the way from Europe, so if these do tickle your fancy,make sure you order them quick to get them in time (The shipping was very fast so I’m sure you will get them in time) I have already posted about these when I first received them, but if you haven’t already seen that post, then I can tell you right now that this purse is my absolute favourite! I just looove how girly it is,the high quality of the leather and the fact that it has cute little studs and skulls to grunge it up a little.

Summer Outfit Planner

Something I really love about Summer is the outfits. In particular- the event outfits. I love all the light pretty fabrics, the summer dresses and of course- the perfect excuse to pick up a new bikini.

I was having a little play around on Stylish Circle one afternoon and decided to create a number of outfits for summer.

Hello, My name is Antoinette and I’m a outfit planner. It’s something I tend to do, without even meaning too. I plan what I will wear to an event well in advance. (Does anyone else do this??) Even though my outfit normally changes on the day, the intention is still there, and I still have a rough idea with what I will be wearing. So creating these outfit collages is kind of perfect for me. Rather than just visualizing in my head how it’s going to look I can actually see if a particular outfit will work. So Stylish Circle is perfect for a OCD gal like me!

I created 8 outfits (with some basic styling tips) that I think would work really well this summer, I hope you enjoy!

Outfit One;

Rose Gold Pendant | Black Crop Top | Irregular Body Con Skirt | Deux Lux Mae Pouch

Outfit one is a sexy black two piece paired with one of the most gorgeous necklaces I have ever seen! I love this outfit- it’s definitely one for when your wanting to feel a little more glam and confident. Perfect for a night out on the town.

Outfit Two;

Asymmetric Sleeveless Dress | Norlina Pumps | Hyde Park Leather Clutch | Sertie Rose Gold Watch

I love love love this outfit! White looks so amazing paired with summer skin and this dress would show off your tan perfectly. This reminds me of something Jenifer Anniston would wear out for dinner and drinks.

Outfit Three;

White Playsuit | Gladiator Sandal | Green Leather Tote | Forever 21 Fedora

This outfit is something I would typically wear out for a summer day trip to the beach or maybe a nice little BBQ. I love the colour of the bag and cut of the playsuit. It’s a really cute and casual no fuss outfit.

This is something a little more glam, while still keeping it casual. Culottes can look really sexy when styled the right way and I think this outfit would be perfect for a winery tour or a fancy lunch.

This outfit is a great way to give a simple black top a stylish bohemian look. The high-waisted skirt and little boots give are so stylish and effortless and are both really easy to wear. High-waisted skirts are really flattering and create a beautiful silhouette.

Outfit Six;

This is cute look for a gig or a low key party. It’s casual but sexy and is a really low maintenance outfit.

Outfit Seven;

B + W A-line Skirt | Green Leather Tote | Claudette Pump

I wore a similar outfit to a work party last year (it was a winery tour during the day) and it received multiple compliments. The skirt is such a flattering shape and the nautical stripes are my favourite. This is the perfect outfit for when a daily outing but your still wanting to look a little dressy.

Outfit Eight;

Mango Textured Cotton Skirt | Emerita Dress Pump | Leather Clutch

If your not a fan of stripes, this would be another great option for a work party, just a slightly dressier clutch with a cute skirt from Mango. I adore the shoes as well! The strappy sandals seem to be everywhere at the moment, and I’m really loving them.

8 Etsy Shops you need to know about

The countdown for Christmas has officially begun and most of us haven’t even started to think about Christmas gifts yet.

As much as I love finding a bargain from my favourite chain stores, shopping from smaller businesses has a real charm to it and can make the shopping experience so much more personal.

I decided to do some searching on Etsy today and came up with this list for some creative and unique ideas for Christmas gifts. Sifting through Etsy is a challenge, there are so many different options to choose from, and you can end up feeling a little lost, so I found 8 stores that will hopefully cancel out hours of searching.

I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

These vegan leather bags are high on my wish list, and at $60 (including shipping to NZ) their a total steal. I know my sister would absolutely love these bags and they would make great gifts. The store has an incredible range of simplistic handmade bags that are sure to win over any girl.

Beautifully handmade porcelain and metal jewellery from France. The thing that drew me to Heiress Atelier was not only the way she has crafted the slight masculinity in her designs, but how she presents them. A sure win with any minimalist for under the tree.

Handmade ceramics and housewares for any décor lover. The simplicity in the designs are perfect for any minimalist who appreciates the small details. Their are heaps of different styles in store, and because each piece is handcrafted, they are all very unique.

Something I really love about Herbivore Botanicals is they use only active ingredients that are their for a specific reason. No “fillers” or synthetic ingredients. All the products they make are natural and are only tested on humans. Basically- I want everything in their store! It also helps that the packaging would look sooo good in your bathroom..

This is just the most gorgeous bra! It’s one of those bras you would only wear a handful of times because of the delicacy, but it’s so pretty for those special occasions. They also take custom requests and the whole store has a wide mixture of things, but the custom bras are just so eye catching.

I literally want everything…. It’s all just so pretty. Yes, pretty is how this whole store shall be described, it sums it up perfectly. When your stuck for ideas, soap is usually a great go to. But of course you want to make sure it’s special, and the soaps from Vice and Velvet are so lush and packaged to perfection (They also have a pretty great page to stalk)

Naves is filled with various styles of personalised monogrammed clutches. These are such a cute idea as a bridesmaids gift or if your just wanting to give your loved one something a little personal. Made from vegan leather and you can have your own initials printed in the corner in gold. There are so many gorgeous styles to choose from, and they are all extremely versatile.

Knobbly studio specialises in ear cuffs and minimalist jewellery. The simplicity makes the cuffs a little more unique and special without looking like your trying too hard. Unfortunately, the Christmas cut off date has now closed- but these are definitely worth keeping in mind for when your buying for someone special or even just for yourself!
