Designer sunnies have always been my weakness…
When I was 16 years old I was already working full time. Obviously, I wouldn’t have been making much money but I remember blowing my whole pay cheque (and some!) on my very first pair of Prada sunglasses. I felt a little bad for spending a hefty $600 on a pair of glasses when I was on such low money, but I was 16 and felt like blowing money on something a little glam so I did 🙂 They were my pride and joy and I wore them consistently for years to come… In fact, I still have them somewhere along with a number of more shades to add to my growing collection.
Buying designer glasses isn’t cheap, but there are some sites where you can find some really good bargains without compromising quality- I’ve listed my top four places to find designer sunnies for when you are on a budget.
- I was recently gifted some gorgeous Bulgari shades (pictured in this post) by Smartbuyglasses.com and can vouch for the quality (no fakes here!)
- Designer Wardrobe has an awesome selection of pre-loved Karen Walker shades which are super affordable.
- Looking for affordable Balenciaga? Clearly.co.nz has you covered with their range along with Ray-ban. They don’t have a huge range, but they do seem to have some really good bargains.
- Lastly, if you want to treat yourself but don’t want to spend over $100 I would suggest trying out Quay. The range is so beautiful and high quality and they generally retail for about $60
