Spring glam has been all about muted burgundies, glossy lips, and a lightly golden tan.
I wanted to share with you guys my current go-to looks and a few of my holy grail products to achieve them. I have found that I have been using more and more of my glossy products and moving a few from my matte lippies etc. I’m really loving the youthful and hydrated looks Amie achieved for this post and I hope you do too!
My go-to for my eyes is a blend of deep burgundy shades mixed with an inner corner highlight to accentuate the depth of this muted smoky eye. This is can be quite muted and made more pastel for the day and deeper for evenings out. It is created by blending eyeshadow in soft shades of chocolate and muted tones of violet. This makeup is really shadowed out so it doesn’t require eyeliner, making it that much simpler for those of us who aren’t so confident with achieving the perfect line.
I will always love my trusty nude lipsticks. For Spring I have stepped back from the matte lippies and have trialing out the glossy lip paints by L’oreal. I love how glossy and hydrated they make my lips look. This nude one is my current go-to, it lasts a really long time and I don’t have dehydrated lips at the end of the day like I would with my matte lipsticks.
When it comes to evening, nothing quite makes a bolder statement then classic red lips paired with a muted smoky eye. This deep velvety red is a real head turner.
Thanks again to the lovely Amie Herewini who beat my face perfectly 😛
